Kitchen and Bath Solutions (KBS) warrants, to the original purchaser only, that its cabinets will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Should any product fail due to defects in material or workmanship under normal use during this period, KBS will, at its own discretion, repair or replace defective parts. Defective parts must be delivered to the KBS office. If components are replaced, KBS cannot guarantee an exact finish match to the existing product, due to color variation and the natural aging process. Drawer guides and hinges are under warranty for the life of the product.
This warranty applies only to single family, non-rental, non-commercial residences. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper storage, defects caused by improper installation, moisture or heat-related damage, or normal wear and tear.
For all KBS doors and drawer fronts that are solid wood, understand that wood may respond adversely to extreme high and low temperature and/or humidity conditions. Visible lines where wood is joined is a natural and acceptable occurrence, and is not considered a defect or cause for replacement under the warranty. These lines are especially common and visible with painted finishes.
Naturally occurring wood characteristics such as color, grain variation, mineral streaks, and knots are not considered defects. Color change may result from aging and exposure to light or heat. These changes are not covered under this warranty.
It is the responsibility of the KBS customer to educate the retail end user of KBS products about the KBS Warranty.
